Management of tricuspid stenosis
THE CONTEXT
The described interventions depend on whether tricuspid stenosis
is isolated or the patient already requires surgery to other valves.
Valve interventions
•
When surgery to other valves
is required, the tricuspid valve can be replaced or treated with valvotomy.
•
Balloon valvuloplasty
can treat rare cases of isolated tricuspid stenosis.
